Counter-to-Counter Service
This has been the main business model for the courier division making up a big percentage of our total courier business. It mainly serves the needs of individual customers who send items at Akamba offices and advise consignees to collect from our various outlets. These individuals are mainly those who work /live in urban centers and need to send letters and small parcels to their friends, relatives and business partners in other towns and rural areas. It is normally an overnight service with our offices operating seven days a week.
Door To Door Service
This service targets mainly corporates that require their packages collected from their offices and delivered to the doorstep of recipients within various towns
Customised ServiceThis is a service offered to corporate customers who have a lot of mail deliveries or payments such as bills to be made within the same town. We offer a rider and a motorcycle at a fixed fee per month. This enables corporates to control their mail delivery costs while at the same time allowing them to concentrate on their core functions.
Same Day Service
This service is offered within major towns and is tailored to meet requirements of customers with urgent deliveries within the same town which they would want to be done within a few hours.
Interstate Parcel Clearance and delivery
We transport and deliver parcels from Kenya to Tanzania and Uganda and vice versa. Where customers require assistance with export entry documents we arrange for the same at a minimal fee through our clearance agents. Our new cargo buses have been built purely for transporting parcels thereby creating the required capacity to handle the ever-increasing demand from our customers.

In order to cope with the demands of customers who want to transport bulk items between destinations, Akamba has introduced enclosed trucks that have a capacity to carry over 10 tonnes of load per trip within Kenya or across borders in East Africa. Akamba cargo trucks will transport your goods at very competitive rates and in the most secure manner, fast.
